On an aquatic mission, our team has embarked on a journey, expecting nothing less than promising triumphs in the 2023–24 season. Diving into the season, the team commenced with a huge splash, displaying a collaborative and collective achievement, securing two victories against Digital Harbor and Carver High School in two separate meets. At our home meet against Digital Harbor, we swam to victory with the support of the Poly family, while in contrast, at our away game at Carver High School, we maintained our unity and ambiance as if we were at Poly. The backbone and drive behind our team’s triumph rested beneath our coaches’ strategic and precise training this season. The coaching team, led by Coach Eddie and Kiki, identified our team’s grit and opted to elevate the mileage and intensity of our workout regimen. This strategic decision aimed to enhance our team’s physical strength and endurance throughout our daily practices and dryland workout sessions at Poly’s outdoor track field. This initiative was undertaken to coordinate our efforts in the pursuit of triumph and success. Our coaches emphasized the significance of discipline, commitment, and teamwork to propel us toward achieving our goals. Within the pool, our success originates from the collective teamwork and devotion of our swimmers and coaches. Yet, it’s our familial bond and unity that set us apart. Every stroke in the pool pushes the team closer to the pursuit of victory and success once again, forever engraving the Poly’s Swim team’s legacy.
