It has substantially impacted Poly and has received significant support from Poly alumni, including George McGowen &#8217;46 and Walter Hackman &#8217;35 (former CEO of Whiting Turner). The foundation&#8217;s mission is to ensure the continued success of our school by providing resources and opportunities for its students and faculty. The foundation provides financial resources to support student programs and initiatives, providing opportunities for students to connect with alumni and industry professionals, and helping to build a strong sense of community and school spirit among alumni. In short, the Alumni Association keeps alumni engaged with the school and each other and the Foundation raises funds to support the school. that serve different purposes. Mr. Tracy noted that while both the Alumni Foundation and Association have been merged, they serve distinct purposes.
