The team has been hard at work at work preparing their robots for this year\u2019s game, Over Under. The essence of the game is using a robot you construct in a 2 vs. 2 match in which you score acorn-shaped balls under a net.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Poly robotics team plays in a league with other BCPSS teams. From there, we qualify for the state championship, where we compete against the top 50-60 teams in the state. With a top 10 finish at the state championship, you qualify for the world championship, which we did most recently in 2022. This is an extremely fun trip to Dallas, where you get to compete against the top 400 teams in the world.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The team meets most B days in room 167 and after school on those days (full schedule can be found on Instagram @bpi_robotics). At meetings, we split into smaller groups and build a robot within each of them.
