Summary & Achievements

Ethics is a club where students discuss modern issues through the lens of philosophy to prepare for the National High School Ethics Bowl. Students go over NHSEB’s 15 regional cases throughout the year and discuss them with students from across the DMV at the bowl. Ethics teaches philosophy, moral thinking, discussion skills, and teamwork. Unlike debate, ethics students focus on discussion rather than disagreement.
