As of the Poly-ACCE home game on October 26, the Varsity and Junior Varsity volleyball teams have both finished their official seasons. This game ended 2-0 for JV and 3-0 for Varsity. JV plays best of 3 sets to 25, while Varsity plays best of 5 sets. The official season ended in a proud victory for both teams. Both teams have impressive records, but Varsity also made history this season. Varsity’s record is 13-1, and have won all in conference games. JV’s record was 10-4 for all games, conference and out-of-conference.

Poly Varsity made history by beating McDonogh High School’s team for the first time in program history. The final score was 3-1. The Varsity team has been led by captains Madison Drummond ‘24 and Ariana Durham ‘25. Both have been essential to the defense and offense. City Championships were on November 1st, and the Varsity team played City, our rivals, at Poly. As for the results, Poly dominated the entire Varsity match and won in straight sets 3-0. Now, Varsity will continue to play in the playoffs, the road to state championships. We hope everyone comes to support the Lady Engineers Volleyball Team on their journey to victory! Go Poly!
